Making the success of UV-C visible at APIC 2022

Intellego Technologies to exhibit at APIC 2022 in Indianapolis

After a two-year hiatus of APIC, the annual event for Infection Preventionists and Epidemiology, we’re excited to be attending and exhibiting at APIC 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The three-day event (June 13-15) is sponsored by the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) which is the leading professional association for infection preventionists (IPs) with more than 15,000 members. Its mission is to advance the science and practice of infection prevention and control.

Intellego will be exhibiting (Booth 1361) and educating attendees on UVC Dosimeters as a validation tool to improve the Safe, Effective and Efficient use of UV-C irradiation in the healthcare environment. The team will be highlighting a study led by infectious disease specialist Dr. Curtis Donskey, MD, on the benefits of colorimetric indicators to assess delivery of UV-C light. In addition, many of the leading UV-C device manufacturers that are exhibiting at APIC will be displaying signage at their booths to promote the use of UVC Dosimeters as a tool to provide visible evidence of successful germicidal irradiation.

According to Wendy Walling, Director of Global Marketing, “We are excited to have the opportunity to be in person with IPs and Epidemiologist at this important event. Many healthcare professionals are looking for ways to validate their exisiting UV-C disinfection equipment and vetting new options – and UVC Dosimeters are the perfect solution.”

During expo hours on Tuesday, June 14, a video crew will be taping interviews at the Intellego booth and inviting conference attendees to share their experience and excitement for improving their disinfection protocols with color-changing UVC Dosimeters.
