Note: Product packaging and dosimeter card designs may vary by region and distribution partnerships.
UVC 100 Dosimeters are designed to visually indicate an accumulated dose of UV-C ranging from 25, 50, 75 and 100 mJ/cm².
Using a patented, UV-sensitive material, UVC 100 Dosimeters react to UV-C at 254 nm, the peak wavelength for germicidal effectiveness. These color-changing indicators are ideal for use with UV-C disinfection systems and help you validate your devices, procedures and visibly see if target surfaces have received enough germicidal irradiation to kill harmful bacteria, viruses and spores.
The Dosimeter Cards are available in three styles*
- UVC100-DUO has two color references for 50 and 100 mJ/cm²
- UVC100-TRI has three color references for 25, 50 and 100 mJ/cm²
- UVC100-MCD has two color references for MRSA and C-diff (correlated to 50 and 100 mJ/cm²)
*UVC100 Dosimeters can be Private Labeled with your logo (MOQ 10,000 units).

Patented photochromatic ink changes color to indicate the level of UV-C irradiation on surfaces (254 nm)
Visibly demonstrates the accumulated dose of UV-C so you can confirm that a surface has received an optimal level of germicidal irradiation. A recent study indicates that SARS-CoV-2 can be inactivated by a dose of 22 mJ/cm². Click to read.
When exposed to an appropriate dose of UV-C, the yellow area changes to orange and deep pink, which can be correlated to a 3-log reduction of MRSA and C.Diff, based on 50 and 100 mJ/cm² respectively*
Validated by leading researchers in the U.S., U.K. and Sweden and trusted by UV-C manufacturers throughout the world. UVC Dosimeter by Intellego have been used in multiple US research studies to confirm UV-C effectiveness.
Recommended for use with UV-C disinfection systems in healthcare facilities, physician and dental practices, commercial spaces and more
Great for in-servicing, staff training, validating UV-C lamp performance, and as a simple reporting tool for Infection Control and Environmental Services
UVC 100 Dosimeters are available in two easy-to-use formats:
- 2.5” x 3.5” cards
- 1” dots
Both formats have an adhesive backing and can be applied to surfaces and/or equipment that will be disinfected with UV-C irradiation. The yellow center on the card (or the entire dot) will change color with UVC exposure, indicating up to 100 mJ/cm². The color-changes associated with the UVC 100 can be correlated to a dose necessary to achieve a 3-log (99.9%) reduction of MRSA and C. Diff.
Instructions for use
To use, peel off the protective strip to expose the adhesive and place UVC 100 Dosimeters on or adjacent to any equipment or surface that will be disinfected with ultraviolet germicidal irradiation. Make sure the yellow indicator area faces toward the UV-C light source. After the UV-C disinfection cycle is complete, confirm the color change on the cards or dots immediately or within 24 hours for best results. UVC 100 Dosimeters are intended for one-use-only and should not be reused.
